What age is this challenge designed for?
This challenge was designed for middle school/high school students. Younger children will probably be able to do many of the challenges with adult supervision.
For the purposes of the gift card drawings, we ask that the challenge participants be between the ages of 10-20. You can a receive an entry for inviting a participant, no matter your age.
If you are older and have never learned these skills, it’s not too late. These are skills everyone could benefit from knowing!
How do I participate?
Just sign up! A weekly challenge will be sent out every Monday in June and July.
I’m starting the challenge late. Can I do the challenges that I missed?
Certainly! The past challenges are posted on the main Challenge page.
Will I need any special equipment or tools?
Most of the challenges can be done with supplies that you will or should have around your house. Any tools that we use are inexpensive and you would probably benefit from owning.
How can I win gift cards?
While you are working on the challenge, take a pic of yourself doing the task and post the picture on you or your parents’ social media tagging our Raising Confident Teens Facebook and/or Raising Confident Teens Instagram page with the hashtags #raisingconfidentteens and #summerskillschallenge2022.
Every time you do that you will be entered in a drawing that we will have at the end of the challenge to win a $50 Amazon gift card. So the more challenges you do, the more chances you have to win!
Also if you invite a friend to join the challenge and they reply to the two questions in the Welcome to the Challenge email, you both will be entered into another drawing to win a $50 Amazon gift card.

Can I post multiple pictures to get more entries?
You can post multiple pictures but you will only earn one entry per challenge completed.
If there are multiple children in your family, each child can post a picture of them completing the challenge and receive and entry for the drawing.
How long do I have to complete each challenge?
You have until August 1st to complete all of the challenges and be entered into the drawings. You can do them once a week or whenever you have time.
