I needed someone to help with trimming hedges, weeding and yardwork. Rachel said her son would help. When Hudson showed up and was only 10 years old, I had my doubts. Boy, was I surprised when he was very respectful, responsible, knowledgeable and a super hard worker! Someone has taught him well. Awesome young man. I would recommend him to anyone needing help.

The Murphy family never ceases to amaze me with their hard working and disciplined character. It is apparent that these rich character traits are something that is taught daily through real life experience. The Murphy children have skill sets and knowledge of life principles and mechanics that aren’t easily found in our video game and cell phone saturated culture. At their young ages the Murphy children have been given a wealth of knowledge through hands on experience that many will not receive in a lifetime. Hudson Murphy is the only 11 year old young man that I would seek advice for gardening, carpentry and small engine repair.

My name is Zach and I live across the street from the Murphy's. I have always been impressed by their family. Their kids are well mannered and always willing to help. Their son Hudson can frequently be found working in the yard and recently fixing up a riding lawn mower. Pretty impressive for a boy his age. He is his Dad's right hand man, spending long days working on their other property, clearing trees etc. It is evident their parents value hard work and are setting up their children for success.

From the moment I met the Murphys, I knew there was something about them that I was drawn to. Most people would say “don’t put a hammer in a 5yr olds hand,” but Rachel and Keith molded and taught their children to be independent and to explore different projects and activities in life. This is why I look up to them so much as a family.

When you mention the Murphy clan to me – I think industrious, hard-working, fun loving and personable. They never cease to amaze me how willing they are to interact with people much older than them and I love to see them helping out around the house and helping the family. I think the environment they are in stimulates creativity, a good work ethic and a love for God and family. I really enjoy spending time with all of them and I think they really enjoy spending time with their parents and their parent’s friends.
