On today’s podcast I chat with Cheree Calhoun about how to help your teens during this stressful time of social isolation. She has lots of experience helping kids who are struggling and gives some great advice, not only for the teens, but also for their parents. She talks about how stress will present itself in our teens, and reminds us that their brains process things differently than an adult’s brain. She also gives tips on helping them grieve and how to connect with them during this time.
Whether you are a parent or just a caring adult, there are many great ideas of how you can help the teens in your life process what is going on in the world at large, and their own world at home. We all love our teens and want to do what we can to help them get through this time of social isolation.
I love this statement she made, “Great things can come from where we are right now.” Listen to this episode and subscribe to our podcast, and know that we are rooting for you and will do all we can to help you!
Just wanted to remind you that if you are looking for things for your teenagers to do during this time, we have created a 14 day level up challenge. If you sign up, you will receive a daily email with several activity ideas for them to do. Join us on the challenge!
