Do you ever walk into your room and feel anxious or depressed? Could it be because your room needs a little TLC?
Studies have shown that clutter can affect your health in many ways. Something that has helped me is to do some decluttering every day. Don’t let your things pile up and don’t say, “I’ll do it tomorrow,” because then it will never get done. So maybe set a timer for a certain number of minutes, like five or ten, and stop when it is done.
If you are not doing much during the summer break you can spend a few days really making progress. When I declutter, it makes me feel content and less stressed. This summer I even made a little money selling the stuff I don’t use any more.
Warning: taking my advice might freak your parents out when they see your clean room.
You could make a business out of helping people declutter.
That is a great idea!
