Who doesn’t love bacon? Are you frustrated with less than stellar results when making bacon? We have experimented with all different brands and different cooking methods and have narrowed it down to a pretty fail-safe method.

First you need to purchase a good, quality brand of bacon. We love to eat Wright Applewood brand. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. This makes cleanup super easy. Next lay the bacon on the parchment paper. If you want them to be crispier, you can put them on a metal cookie cooling rack. Bake in the oven at 400 degrees for 18-22 minutes. The exact time will vary depending on the thickness of your bacon. Take the bacon and place on a paper towel lined plate to blot the grease.

If you feel like you don’t have time to cook breakfast in the morning, you can get up and put the bacon in the oven to cook while you get ready. Then you can pour the grease into a cast iron skillet and fry some eggs up in a couple of minutes.
