We love to celebrate the success stories of the kids in our group! The person in our community that we want to highlight today is Amber. She has been a member of the Civil Air Patrol’s Cadet Program for four years. Yesterday she achieved the rank of Tech Sergeant. She loves being a part of the Civil Air Patrol and it has definitely helped her develop her leadership skills. Way to go Amber!

The Cadet Program is an awesome opportunity for young people ages twelve to eighteen. CAP is a volunteer, auxiliary branch of the United States Air Force. The program focuses on the areas of leadership, aerospace, fitness and character. The cadets get to do all kinds of interesting things like fly planes, work search and rescue missions and spend a week every summer at encampment. They have over 1,000 squadrons located all over the United States, so there’s a pretty good chance there is one near you. If it sounds like something you think you might want to get involved in, you can check out their website at https://www.gocivilairpatrol.com/programs/cadets.

If you have a success story, let us know. We would love to celebrate with you!
